ואידך דרב מתנא מדשני בדיבוריה

What is meant by saying that 'it [the latter] i required for its own lesson'?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' The gezerah shawah being provided by the other text.');">²³</span> - It is required to show that [the blowing must be] in the daytime and not at night. Whence does the other authority derive the rule that the blowing must be by day and not by night? - He derives it from the expression On the Day of Atonement.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Lev.
